Course Description

This event is designed for health professionals who want to better understand what diet culture is, how weight stigma and fatphobia show up in your work with clients, and how you can best support clients to heal their relationships with their bodies and food.

This course will allow you to:

  • Recognize the role of weight stigma and fatphobia in perpetuating body shame and disordered eating

  • Acknowledge your size biases and/or thin privilege as a clinician and understand the potential impacts they have on the therapeutic relationship

  • Describe the fundamentals of Intuitive Eating, body neutrality, and Health At Every Size

  • Effectively and ethically navigate common scenarios clients present regarding food and body image

Meet Your Instructor

Chelsea Hester-Bradt, MA


Chelsea Hester-Bradt is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Anti-Diet Coach with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University. Chelsea has previously worked at the Eating Disorder Foundation in Colorado and Eating Recovery Center in South Carolina with clinical eating disorders. She now lives in NYC providing coaching, consulting, and speaking to raise awareness of weight stigma, diet culture, and how to heal your relationships with food via Intuitive Eating.
