Embodied Mind is a psychotherapy and training practice based in New York City. Our trauma-informed, integrative approach to mental and relational health takes into account the biological, relational, systemic, social, cultural, emotional, physiological, and spiritual components to health and wellbeing.
By integrating a broad range of empirically informed psychotherapeutic modalities with body- oriented wellness practices, we customize support to meet the specific needs of our clients. We also provide in-depth training to professionals, broadening and deepening their scope and skill set thus paving the way for innovation and accessibility in the mental health and wellness field throughout the community.

At Embodied Mind, we approach psychotherapy from an integrative, trauma-informed perspective. We consider the myriad of ways humans are impacted by life's experiences, and believe it is our duty as mental health practitioners to hold such complexities with curiosity and humility.
What sets us apart?
Embodied Mind is both a training organization and a private, integrative psychotherapy practice. When deciding which courses we offer, we first take into account the actual issues we are seeing in our clinical work, as well as current social events in order to facilitate trainings that are congruent with contemporary social conversations and needs. We work with the highest caliber instructors to offer continuing education around trauma-informed, integrative, and contemplative-based therapies.
